The science of plastic surgery is evolving through new surgical techniques. The well-known breast augmentation with silicone implants is now enhanced. We are introducing the composite breast augmentation with silicon implants and autologous fat transfer.
Composite breast augmentation combines the projection of the core volume of breast implants with the feel of overlying fat offering natural shape, volume and texture.
The transplanted fat adds volume to the subcutaneous space of the breast. Using liposuction, fat is harvested from areas of the body with excessive fat. It then undergoes thorough processing (to remove blood). Purified fat is then placed around or even over the silicone implant. Fat implant over and around silicone implants ensures smooth appearance in the case of very slim patients with thin skin. Composite breast augmentation offers the patient the outcome of two surgical procedures with only one operation: composite breast augmentation and liposuction.
